So i just got back from my weekend trip to Lithuania that i booked for under £100, if you want to know how have a look here.

WHERE TO STAY

I stayed at Hotel Zemaites costing around 70-80 euros for 2 people for the weekend which in my eyes is a complete bargain! The hotel is a 3 star hotel and is pretty basic but is clean and has everything you need. The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and also a 5 minute drive from the cathedral square and city centre. There is a lidl supermarket across the road and everything you may need near by. The hotel also has a pool and sauna at an extra cost which you can book at reception.Read More »

Too Good To Be True Tuesdays – LITHUANIA

1472311280.jpg

Its that time of the month again and this months deal for under £100 is to Vilnius in Lithuania!!

If you haven’t read one of my ‘too good to be true Tuesday’ deals before and want to know why I started these monthly posts have a read here, But long story short I have set myself a goal to travel at least once each month throughout 2018.

Obviously travelling each month can work out to be quiet costly so I try to do my Europe trips on a budget of no more than £100! Most people don’t believe its possible but with a little research you would be amazed at what you can find, especially in these early months of the year when its not peak for travelling.

St Lucia by Homebird Hang-ups – February’s guest blogger!

To celebrate my 40th birthday (which was on Christmas Eve), we travelled to St. Lucia for an all inclusive, luxurious holiday at Sandals Halcyon Resort in Castries. Never before in my 40 years have I been on holiday in December and it was GLORIOUS!

Although we stayed in Castries, Marigot Bay, Rodney Bay (apparently the ‘Beverley Hills’ of St. Lucia!) and Soufriere were all very popular places on the island too.Read More »

48 HOURS IN BILLUND!

WHERE TO STAY

I stayed at Hotel Propellen which is only 5 minutes from the airport and only a 10 minutes walk into town, It is also a couple of minutes from LEGOLAND and Lalandia if you are visiting with the kids meaning its in easy reach of everything.
I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the rooms are MUCH bigger than they look online, are super stylish and have the most comfy bed! I am really picky when staying in hotels and I find a lot of hotels don’t have comfy enough beds/pillows but this was a win win all round.Read More »

10 Instagram-Worthy African Safari Photos

If you didn’t already know by all my spam photos over my social media I went to South Africa for just under a month in December, travelling from Cape town to Victoria Falls passing through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. It was the most AMAZING trip ever with my main highlights being the amount of wildlife we saw, I never expected to see lions, giraffes and cheetahs in the wild with my own eyes and it honestly blew me away. If you have been debating about going on a African safari these pictures will easily help you make up your mind!!Read More »

2018 Destination wish list

I am not too fussy when it comes to travelling in the sense of where I visit as I would love to one day visit every country if possible. I usually tend to go to places which are cheap or I find a good offer on so I can travel more frequently and see more places.

I am forever searching for new adventures and I’m constantly stalking peoples instagrams/twitters/blogs to see their latest trips and where they have been to give me more inspiration for future trips.

I have a few places that I would love to visit and I am making it my mission for 2018 to visit at least a couple of these. This year I have set myself a goal to travel at least once each month, which could be a cheap European weekend break or a luxury long haul – it all depends on time and money!Read More »
