A-Z DAYS OUT & ACTIVITIES

google-alphabet-1024x611.jpg
Last week I had a guy in my office telling me about a brilliant idea him and his girlfriend had which is.. A-Z Date nights! I hadn’t heard of this before but the title explains exactly what it is, date nights beginning with each letter of the alphabet.

Obviously me being the copy cat in this instance I had to jump on the band waggon and steal his idea, Sadly without the dating part as I’m quite clearly single. Instead I have decided I will make it an A-Z days out/activity mission that i will do with friends or family.Read More »

2018 Mini Bucket list & Goals!

I am forever booking days out, holidays and excursions but a lot of the time I book things when i see them on offer or find good deals and not necessarily things that are on my bucket list.
Like most, my bucket list is never ending and i don’t feel like i am getting through it and not ticking that much off so i thought it would be a good idea to put together a few realistic ideas that i have to complete before the end of the year!Read More »

Mini Travel guide to Vilnius, Lithuania

So i just got back from my weekend trip to Lithuania that i booked for under £100, if you want to know how have a look here.

WHERE TO STAY

I stayed at Hotel Zemaites costing around 70-80 euros for 2 people for the weekend which in my eyes is a complete bargain! The hotel is a 3 star hotel and is pretty basic but is clean and has everything you need. The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and also a 5 minute drive from the cathedral square and city centre. There is a lidl supermarket across the road and everything you may need near by. The hotel also has a pool and sauna at an extra cost which you can book at reception.Read More »

Its that time of the month again and this months deal for under £100 is to Vilnius in Lithuania!!

If you haven’t read one of my ‘too good to be true Tuesday’ deals before and want to know why I started these monthly posts have a read here, But long story short I have set myself a goal to travel at least once each month throughout 2018.

Obviously travelling each month can work out to be quiet costly so I try to do my Europe trips on a budget of no more than £100! Most people don’t believe its possible but with a little research you would be amazed at what you can find, especially in these early months of the year when its not peak for travelling.

St Lucia by Homebird Hang-ups – February’s guest blogger!

To celebrate my 40th birthday (which was on Christmas Eve), we travelled to St. Lucia for an all inclusive, luxurious holiday at Sandals Halcyon Resort in Castries. Never before in my 40 years have I been on holiday in December and it was GLORIOUS!

Although we stayed in Castries, Marigot Bay, Rodney Bay (apparently the ‘Beverley Hills’ of St. Lucia!) and Soufriere were all very popular places on the island too.Read More »

48 HOURS IN BILLUND!

WHERE TO STAY

I stayed at Hotel Propellen which is only 5 minutes from the airport and only a 10 minutes walk into town, It is also a couple of minutes from LEGOLAND and Lalandia if you are visiting with the kids meaning its in easy reach of everything.
I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the rooms are MUCH bigger than they look online, are super stylish and have the most comfy bed! I am really picky when staying in hotels and I find a lot of hotels don’t have comfy enough beds/pillows but this was a win win all round.Read More »
