Recently I have been on twitter posting polls like crazy and it has been my favourite way of communicating with my followers and really getting to know everyone. I like to know everyone’s views and opinions as well as past experiences. Most of my followers are like minded travellers like myself and as much as we have similar interests its nice to be able to see how people from all over the world think and to see each others journeys.Read More »

How to spend a day in Barbados

I was recently on a Caribbean cruse with costa cruises and day 5 of our cruise was a stop at Barbados, somewhere I have wanted to go for so long and probably the place I was most looking forward to during this trip. One thing i especially wanted to do was go snorkelling and see the turtles and I was going to make sure it happened, even if i just saw one!

I got looking online and came across tranquillity cruises ran by a lady called Sarah who also owns glorytours. I messaged her about getting booked on to the turtle and shipwreck cruise and she actually came back recommending the full day best of Barbados tour (on glorytours) which included:
– Harrison’s cave tram tour
– Wlechman Hall Gully
– Lunch at Copacabana Barbados
– Carlisle Bay
– Glass bottom boat cruise to swim with turtles and snorkel at a shipwreck.Read More »

Cruise stop in Tobago

Our first stop on my recent Caribbean cruise was Tobago Scarborough and we didn’t actually have anything booked for when we arrived at the port. One thing I was worrying about as I have never been on a cruise before and wasn’t sure how things worked was booking excursions or how easy it is to explore the islands yourself/book private excursions, however visiting Tobago completely helped relax me with this.

We arrived in Scarborough around 8am and departed from the ship with not much of a plan on what we would do or what we would see. After speaking with my twitter followers and doing some research online a lot of people agreed there wasn’t too much to see on the island and the cost of the excursions weren’t justified so we thought we would go with the flow and could just get a taxi to a local attraction or to the beach (ideally Pigeon Point beach as it looks gorgeous!!).Read More »

After 6 months off.. I’M BACK for 2019!

Ok so I know I haven’t posted for a while, actually its been much longer than a while, its been about 6 months!! However the past 6 months I have had a lot happening and sadly my personal life has slightly taken over and the blog has suffered but.. NOT ANYMORE! I know we are already into March but 2019 has some exciting times ahead and I cannot wait to get back into this and better than ever.

Without going into too much detail the past 6 months I have moved out of my flat, I have been made redundant and have started up a business. Along side this there has been some health issues, multiple holidays, Christmas, new year and a birthday so it has been a pretty manic few months to say the least and at times very stressful!

A Unique Summer Watch & Giveaway!

For the last few months I have been on the hunt for a new watch and if you know me, you know how picky I am. I finally came across Jord and fell in love with their unique watches! I haven’t seen anything like them before and I absolutely love the simplicity and look of their products!
I myself went for the Cassia in Ebony & Sable and am BEYOND OBSESSED! I love the fact this watch is black and goes with everything so I can wear it on a daily basis and not have to worry. The Cassia Ebony & Sable is a black wooden watch with gold coloured detailing around the dial. The watch has a fairly thin strap with a large watch face which is something I look for as I love the look of a feminine strap with a big statement face. The watch has a deployant buckle at the back and I had my watch engraved with my initials on the back of the face which adds the perfect personal touch!
My favourite thing about Jord is how different the watches are, they are made out of wood and are unlike anything I have seen before.Read More »
